Making sure Adrian has some comforts of home and a proper place to sit and eat, draw and do some home schooling exercises was one of our top priorities. We ended up getting him a Gelert Kid’s Executive Camping Chair and Low Resin Table. He also has a Decathlon Pop Up Shelter Tent to play in the shade when we are camping.

Not many toys will make the trip with us. We have decided the push scooter and protective gear will come along, together with some Lego blocks, Adrian’s beloved dinosaur and Transformers collection, PlayDoh, part of his Masaito motorcycle collection, some art and craft stuff and lots of imagination.

A portable DVD player will provide in-car entertainment and be used as a teaching aid for his home schooling. We are legally responsible to Home School Adrian from the age of 5, although if we stayed on in the UK, he would be in Reception Class in September 2008, when he is 4.
