Today we were supposed to be up early so as to arrive at the Ambassador’s residence before too many guests had arrived but as usual Adrian didn’t wake up till 9 am. By the time we got everything sorted it was 11 am before we left the campsite. We were in such a hurry that I forgot

True to the weather forecast, the sun was shining when we woke up. I was up and about by 8 am and requested Peter’s daughter to write in our guest book, the first since I had my stroke. Things look like getting back

Today the sun was out when we woke up thank goodness for that especially after having been woken up at 1 am by the falling awning being blown by the strong wind. I thought I would get a quick shower in before breakfast only to discover that I had not brought the swipe card needed for the shower. Some kind soul offered his swipe card

Unexpectedly contrary to the bright weather yesterday evening, the morning was again a downpour. We stayed in the tent till about 9.30 am when the rain eased and this time we only had the tent to put down which we did in 15 minutes. Before we left the campsite Alison made some nasi lemak for a change.

It was pouring down with rain when we woke up in the morning which gave us the excuse to lie in. By 9.30 am it had eased and we hurriedly pack our things and put down the tent, while Adrian as usual enjoyed his DVD. As internet was available f.o.c. Alison was quite happy to stay for as long as it took to eat breakfast and wash the dishes.
