7th June 2009: Norfolk VA

This is the 10th day we are in Norfolk, and unfortunately there is nothing for us to do, not without transport! I am looking forward to the breakfast this morning as Alison had bought some eggs and we are trying to boil them in the coffee percolator. Ooops, I forgot to boil the eggs!

We had breakfast and I then went back to the room as I wanted to watch the Federer / Soderling match on TV. I had changed the channel from CN to the sports channel before we went for breakfast so when we got back there was not too much hassle from Adrian. I was glad to see Federer winning but the match was rather one sided I thought.

Alison did her part by taking Adrian out to the shops for which I was thankful. At least Adrian was out of my hair for an hour while I watched the match in peace. When they got back the match was almost over. Alison had bought microwave lunch for us to try out. She had chicken noodle soup and I had the pleasure of having spaghetti bolognaise which had too much tomato in it. But a meal is a meal!

I thought I needed some exercise to get the bloated feeling I had out of my system. I went out for a stroll and Alison then came out after me with Adrian saying that he was complaining about having to go out while I had hogged the TV all day. I didn’t ask them to come out in the first place, it was a miscommunication on our part. So, Adrian was glad to go back into the room to continue with his TV.

At dinner time we thought of going to Popeye but since we had to get Adrian his nuggets decided to sit at McDonalds and ate there instead. As soon as we got back Alison was on the laptop, continuing with her digital scrapping which she had downloaded, at a fee of course! There was a bit of a fight between Adrian and I over the TV, which I had to give in for the sake of peace!
