After a good nights rest, at least for me as Alison was complaining about not being able to sleep due to Adrian being restless, and a simple breakfast, we left the hotel just after 0900hrs. There was hardly any traffic and we made good progress although I had to stop several times to pee due to the lasix tablet I had taken during breakfast.

During one of the stops Alison noticed that one of the clips holding the roof tent door flap up was protruding out of the cover and upon investigation I found that the roof tent top was not seating properly at the back. We had to wind the roof tent cover up a little and then wind it back down while pushing it backwards to ensure it sat properly over the bottom casing.

We stopped for lunch of sandwiches and a really small nour cafe. It was too cold, temperature of 10C with a wind chill factor of maybe another 5C, for us to make our own sandwiches in the open. So we had to fork out extra Euros for the lunch.

As it was getting dark we decided to stop at Bresse where an Etap hotel was available at 49 Euros but had to pay for wifi. I had a good meal of local chicken (as Bresse is known for its special chicken) and Alison made do with fish and chips. I took pity and gave her a little of my chicken. Well she claimed she was not hungry before we sat down for the meal.

I had an early night while Alison was checking the email and  updating the  website
