Adrian and I had a very sound sleep until about 6 am when Alison came up to the tent as she volunteered to sleep in the car. She was freezing the poor woman and
came up to get some warmth. At 7.30 am I thought it would be better if I got up and let Adrian and Alison carry on sleeping which they did until 9 am.
Matthias came along and we explained why we camped there and he was not concerned at all. In fact when I brought out the subject of the lost awning he said that he had one which was used once the previous week by his son. It was in immaculate condition and we agreed to buy it off him. How lucky can one get! By this time Alison had stuck the “DAKTEC.de” decal on the Tuah and Matthias was impressed. We took some photos of Tuah nest to the truck used for back up in the Libyan rally and got ready to leave. After settling with Matthias and saying our goodbyes for the second time we left for We have taken the incidences positively as if they had not happened we would never have met all these kind people we met along the way. We will always be grateful to them for their kindness. |
