Driving Permits
Ghani and I both hold Malaysian and British driving licenses, but we also opted to apply for International Driving Permits. These are valid for 1 year from issue, and can be obtained through the RAC in the UK, or the AAM in Malaysia.
Visas & Documents
1 st Leg – Europe and Morocco
For the first leg of our journey, we will only require visas for Morocco, obtainable from the Moroccan Embassy in London.
We will not be requiring a Carnet for this leg
Due to time frame of validity of visas, we will obtain visas for the 2nd Leg - London to Cape Town before departure on 1 November 2008
